Sustainable Gift Shopping Guide

With the upcoming holiday season, I've put together some of my favorite sustainable stores/brands and recommendations.
But first, pick a goal you're willing to commit to:
BEGINNER LEVEL: Choose a sustainable gift for at least one person
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: Choose a sustainable gift for your immediate family/friends
ADVANCED LEVEL: Choose sustainable gifts for everyone!
My Recommendations
A few things to keep in mind while looking for gifts:
1. Shop local! Remember to support you local businesses during this hard time. + it's more sustainable! (i.e., stay away from Amazon...)
2. Consider zero-waste gifts. Plants, gift cards to their fave restaurants, gifts of service, books, wine, memberships, audiobooks, donation to their favorite charity.
3. Look for sustainable clothing materials. Yes to cotton, hemp, linen, Tycel. No to acrylic, nylon, polyester.
4. Don't forget sustainable wrapping. Reuse boxes, old fabric, newspaper/ magazines, paper shopping bags, used jars/tins. Get creative!
